For this project I was tasked with creating a unique movie promotion from a film we recently watched. I chose the movie Kubo and the two Strings, which is stop motion which made me to believe the campaign required extreme attention to detail seeing the subject matter. Using traditional Japanese origami, I created an engaging square poster that not only caught your eye, but folded into a beetle that you could take with you wherever you go. This not only mirrored key elements in the film, but it also forced viewers to engage with the subject matter and be rewarded with a keepsake from the movie.
